Happy New Year 2012 Naples ,Italy

We spent the day up in the mountains so the kids could play in some snow. When we got back home, we wanted to go out and get a pizza, but on the way.....we found this car totally engulfed in flames. Happy New Year ! After watching the firemen put out the car, we headed downtown to watch the Fireworks!

Trip to Stuttgart, Germany for Volkfest

We had a wonderful time in Stuttgart, and had a nice time at the festival. The kids did not enjoy being in the beer garden as much as Diane and I did, but at least they experienced it! The next day we went to the Mercedes Benz museum, and that was VERY cool. On the drive back from Stuttgart we just happened upon the Legoland park, and made a surprise stop to show the kids. Unfortunately we did not have enough time to stay, but we did get some souvenir's.

Day Trip to the Isle of Capri

We are in the tiny boat getting ready to head into the Blue Grotto(Grotta Azzurra). They wait at the entrance and time the waves so they can thrust the boat into the cave. Glad we has an overcast day, because we sat i nthis little boat for about 20 min prior to going in.
Inside looking back toward the entrance, awesome blue!

Alberobello, Italy

After Zoosafari, we drove over to the next little town called Alberobello. What a gorgeous little town with round houses, and stacked stone roofs. From what we understand, the reason they had stacked stones for roofs, was when the tax collector would come to town, the villagers would take the roofs off the houses, so they wouldn't be taxed since the building was incomplete.http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alberobello
